Sometimes a request needs to leave the dashboard — a printed copy for a service tech heading out to a machine, a record for your files, or an email to a client asking what happened.
ZippyAssist can produce a clean, formatted summary of any help or refund request, ready to print or email.
Where to find it
Open the actions menu on any help request or refund request — from the list view or the expanded row — and you'll see two options: Print request and Send summary.
Printing a request
Open the actions menu on the request.
Choose Print request.
Your browser's print dialog opens with the formatted summary ready to go.
From there you can print to paper, or use your browser's "Save as PDF" option to keep a digital copy.
Emailing a summary
Open the actions menu on the request.
Choose Send summary.
Enter the email address you want it sent to.
Click Send.
The recipient doesn't need a ZippyAssist account — the summary arrives as a self-contained email. This is handy for passing details to a client, a location manager, or a colleague who doesn't use the dashboard.
What's included
The summary pulls together everything recorded against the request:
Customer information — name, email, phone number, and any customer labels applied.
Request details — status, reference ID, and the date submitted.
For refund requests — the amount, refund method, disbursement method, date of transaction, decision date, disbursed date, and coupon code where one applies.
Payment details — the payment method type, plus the first six and last four digits of the card where captured.
Payout information — where the refund has been disbursed, the payout record is included.
For help requests — the reported issue. If the customer submitted in another language, both the original text and the English translation appear.
Photos — any photo the customer attached is included in the summary.
Empty fields are left out, so the summary stays readable rather than padded with blanks.
