Some operators may need to manage multiple branches across multiple dashboards. This is made easy by account switching.
A user that has multiple dashboards assigned to their account can quickly jump between different dashboards. In the top left corner you will see the account switching button next to the company name. Clicking this will allow you to switch dashboards to the accounts you have access to.
Links open the right dashboard
Each dashboard now has its own web address, which means every link into ZippyAssist knows which organization it belongs to.
In practice:
Email links go straight to the right place. Click a notification email for a request in one organization and it opens in that organization — even if you were last working in a different one. You no longer have to switch dashboards first and then find the request.
Bookmarks stay accurate. A bookmarked page returns you to the dashboard you saved it from.
Older links still work. Links already sitting in your inbox or browser history from before this change are recognised and sent to the correct dashboard automatically.
Working in several dashboards at once
Because the organization is part of the address, you can keep multiple dashboards open in separate browser tabs at the same time.
Previously, switching organizations in one tab would change what every other tab was looking at. Now each tab holds its own dashboard independently — useful if you're comparing branches, or keeping an eye on one location's queue while working in another.
Giving Users Access
Operators can give users access to multiple dashboards by going into Settings - Users - Edit User. Here you will be able to assign accounts to that user allowing them to swap between dashboards.
*Note: Users with the 'Owner' permission can assign all accounts, to new and exisiting users, that they have access to.
