Account Labels let you tag the accounts your equipment belongs to — the businesses, sites, or clients you service — so you can group, filter, and act on them consistently.
They work like Customer Labels, but they apply to accounts rather than individual customers.
What you might use them for
Marking accounts by service tier — Key Account, Standard, Trial
Flagging accounts that need special handling — Contract Review, No Refunds, VIP
Grouping by region, franchise, or business type
Tagging accounts that need extra care — Escalate Always, New Install
Creating account labels
Go to Settings → Organization and open the Customize section.
Find Account Labels.
Click Add label.
Enter a name (up to 20 characters).
Click the colour swatch to pick a colour.
Save.
You can create up to 20 account labels. Drag labels using the grip handle to reorder them — the order you set here is the order they appear everywhere else.
Some labels are system labels. These show a lock icon and can't be renamed or deleted.
Applying labels to an account
Go to Equipment and open the Accounts view.
Find the account you want to label.
Add or remove labels directly in the Labels column.
Changes save as you make them — there's no separate save step.
While you're there, you can also record the account's contact name, contact email, and contact phone, so whoever picks up an issue knows who to call.
Where labels appear
Accounts view — the Labels column is shown by default.
Equipment list — account labels are available as a column, so you can see at a glance which account each machine belongs to and how it's classified.
Filters — filter either view by account label to narrow down to just the accounts you care about.
Exports — account labels are included when you export your accounts, alongside request counts and refund totals.
Using account labels in rules
Account labels can drive automation. Account Label is available as a filter column in the rule builder, which means you can use it in Equipment Sync Rules (automatically activate or deactivate equipment based on the account it belongs to) and Escalation Equipment Rules (always escalate requests from equipment at certain accounts).
When building a rule, choose Account Label as the column, then pick is, is not, is empty, or is not empty and select the labels you want to match.
For example: a rule of Account Label is "Key Account" on your escalation equipment rules means anything reported at those sites gets escalated straight away, regardless of risk score.
