Audit Logs

Track changes made to Help, Refund, Customer, and Voice Message records

The Audit Log gives you a detailed, chronological record of every change made across your ZippyAssist account. It's designed to give you a clear view of who made what change and when it happened — whether that's a team member approving a refund or ZippyAssist performing an automated action.

You can access the Audit Log by clicking the Settings Gear in the top left of the dashboard and selecting Audits.

What You Can Do

See Who Made a Change

Every entry in the audit log shows the user or system that made the change, along with the exact date and time it happened. Actions taken automatically by ZippyAssist will appear as "ZippyAssist" in the By column rather than a team member's name.

Track Specific Changes

For each entry, you'll see the field that was updated, its value before the change, and what it was changed to. This makes it easy to trace exactly what happened to a record over time.

View Detailed Record History

Click the arrow to the left of any row to expand it and view more details about the record that was modified.

Audit Log Columns

Column

The specific field that was updated (e.g. status, payment details, name, email).

The value before the change was made.

The value after the change was made.

Who made the change — either a named user on your team or "ZippyAssist" for automated system actions.

The date and time the change occurred.

Filters

To help narrow things down, you can filter the log by:

  • User — choose a specific team member to see only the actions they performed

  • Audit Type — filter by the type of record that was changed: Customer, Help, Refund, or Voice Message

  • Date — use the date picker to narrow results to a specific time period

  • Search — search across entries to quickly find something specific

Example Use Cases

  • See who approved or failed a refund and when

  • Track changes to customer preferences or tags

  • Confirm edits made to help request records or voice message settings

  • Investigate unexpected status changes on a record

The Audit Log provides transparency and accountability across your team, helping you stay on top of activity and quickly troubleshoot issues when needed.

Note: Actions taken automatically by ZippyAssist — such as system-triggered status updates or disbursements — will appear in the By column as "ZippyAssist" rather than a team member's name.
