Customers choose one of several Request Types displayed to them to indicate what type of help they are requesting.
Typical Request Types are:
Refund Request
Machine Broken
Restock Required
Product Request
Other
Request Types can be configured from the dashboard by going to "App settings" and clicking on "Request types". From this page the request types can be added or removed, the order of display changed, and add additional translations if multi language support is turned on.
Each request type can be configured to support collecting refund request information. When configuring request types users will be given the option to make collecting refund information mandatory, optional, or not applicable for that particular request type. When set to optional the customer will decide whether they need a refund or not.
The “Refund Request” Help Type and refunds.It’s important to understand that a help request of type “Refund Request” is not the same as a refund in ZippyAssist:
